Someone looking for an electrician or another trade wants to know whether you do the job, work in their area and are easy to contact. Your website should answer these questions directly.
Show the work behind the result
A useful project page explains the starting point, your contribution and the finished work. Overview and detail photographs are more informative than a list of broad promises. Publish only material you have permission to use and protect customer information.
Be specific about your services
Separate new installations, upgrades and fault finding, for example. Name the area you actually serve and explain what you need for an initial estimate. Do not advertise emergency coverage unless you provide it.
Keep enquiries simple
A visible telephone number and a short form are often enough. Ask about the job, location and preferred timing. Other details can be discussed personally.
